This page documents the SMS opt-in consent flow used by Tiitan1 AI for on-call security incident alerts. Consent is collected within the Tiitan1 AI Operations Platform at hub.tiitan1.ai, which requires authentication because it contains confidential security incident data. The screenshots below show the consent experience as presented to staff members. Full SMS terms are available at https://tiitan1.ai/sms-terms.
Step 1: Staff member adds their own mobile number and is shown the consent language
A staff member navigates to Settings > Notification Settings in the Tiitan1 AI Operations Platform and selects Add method. Providing a mobile number is optional and is not required as a condition of employment or of participating in the on-call rotation. When SMS is selected as the method type, the following consent language is displayed on screen before the staff member submits their number, together with links to the SMS Terms and Consent page and the Privacy Policy.
“By providing your phone number and clicking ‘Send verification code,’ you consent to receive SMS text messages from Tiitan1 AI for on-call incident alerts and security notifications. Message frequency varies based on incident volume, typically 0-20 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. SMS enrollment is optional and is not required as a condition of employment or of on-call participation. Staff who do not enroll receive the same alerts by voice call and in-app notification.”

Step 2: One-time verification code confirms handset ownership
After submitting, the staff member receives a one-time verification code by SMS and must enter that code in the platform to complete enrollment. This verification message is sent solely as part of this consent flow. The verification screen displays: “By verifying, you confirm consent to receive SMS security alerts from Tiitan1 AI. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.” Enrollment is not completed and no alerts are sent unless the code is entered. Verification cannot currently be demonstrated end to end because outbound SMS from this number is pending A2P 10DLC campaign approval.
Step 3: SMS remains disabled until consent is verified
An SMS contact method cannot be enabled until the one-time code has been entered. In the screenshot below, the SMS method shows as Unverified with its toggle off and disabled, while the voice call and email methods, which do not require SMS consent, are verified and enabled. No SMS alert is sent to any number that has not completed verification.

Opt-Out
Enrolled staff may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message, by removing or disabling the phone number under Settings > Notification Settings, or by contacting ops@tiitan1.ai.
